LOGAN, UT---The Social Media Club of Cache Valley is now accepting new members who want to be involved with classes and seminars about social media networks in Cache Valley.
Becoming a member will give you insight on how to become better at communicating with those around you using websites such as Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter. The club is a great way to learn more about social media if you are going into Public Relations. The meetings consist of guest speakers, refreshments at popular location such as Café Sabor and Borders, and time to discuss and share experiences with other members. The objective of SMCCV is eventually become a non profit organization. A long term goal SMCCV is to organize conferences at some point in the future that will tack on a whole day dedicated to social media seminars.
The Social Media Club of Cache Valley began in August of 2009, with just 7 members. The chapter is an offshute of the Salt Lake City branch. The president of the branch is Preston Parker, who delegates over the meetings. According to Preston, “the purpose of the club is to have a community where those who are members of social media networks can get together, meet each other and share experiences.”

I think you did an excellent job. Your writing is really easy to follow and you utilized the inverted pyramid style very well! Your quote is great and you used good examples. Way to go!
ReplyDeleteYou did a really good job at announcing the SMCCV positively. There are a couple sentences that need to be reworded like when you're talking about the long term goal of SMCCV, but other than that it's written very well. Good job!
ReplyDeleteGood job. I felt like I was really being convinced to join there. Although, it did seem like it was aimed to students. Was that the goal? Really good job though.
