Subject: Kade Delis, a social networker

Date: 4/19/10

Kade Delis, you are an avid social networker. Starting with a Google search, I was able to find that you are a member of facebook, twitter and linked in. From these social media networks I was able to find more information about you.

Within the Google search, I found that you write for Utah State University’s Hard News Café. I found articles you have written by searching your name on the Hard News Café website. After doing this, most of your articles were the city of Mendon, located near Logan Utah. The topics on Mendon ranged from the term the former mayor served to home businesses located in Mendon.

Through looking at your facebook page, I was able to find quite a bit of information regarding your personal life because you don’t have your settings set to private. According to facebook, you were born on January 15, 1988, you are in a relationship, you recently took a trip to Japan, and your political views are moderate. By looking on your wall I was able to see the thoughts you had on specific days and that you are a fan of sea food.

On your twitter account, which I found via Google, you enjoy whale meat and you see swimming as a way to stay physically fit. You also expressed a sleeping problem and you find the language Japanese to be challenging.

I wasn’t able to find much more about you from your linked in account, other than your area of interest is in public relations and communications you have attended Utah State University since 2006 and project to graduate in 2010.

All in all you seem to be an average college student who is a member of the most popular social media networks. There are interesting things about you that make you the person you are and it is prevalent throughout the networks you are involved with.
