Burger Planet Making Menu Changes
A Healthy Way To Eat Fast Food
GARY, IN--- Planet Burgers Incorporated is introducing a new menu to kick start a series of healthy fast food options. All you working mother’s out there, your stresses of loosing weight and eating healthy while providing a nutritious, quick and tasty meal for your family is now over.
Burger Planet was started in 1934 by James E. Muellenbach. With its’ humble beginnings in Gary Indiana, Burger Planet became famous for their simple menu including burgers, fries and soda. Since then the fast food company has served over 52 billion customers with locations reaching up to 8,921 franchises in every state and 17 countries.
Always looking to better the customer’s experience Burger Planet has hired health guru Jayne Peterson as a spokesperson for the company. Peterson is promoting the new menu in such a way that women will finally see that fast food isn’t all unhealthy, full of calories, grease and fat. Peterson said, "Well, I emphasize a message of moderation. Women can have a burger and fries now and then as long as they are active and also try some of Burger Planet's exciting new menu choices, such as the fruit packages."
Head Chef Gerard DuBois stated, "In the past year, we added white meat chicken breasts to our menu. We offer consumers the option to buy the chicken breast wrapped in lettuce in case they are on a low-carb diet. They also can ask us to hold the mayo for a calorie reduction of 500 calories. None of our other competitors offers a similar entree." Burger Planet is aware of the growing obesity of it’s consumers and has introduced the new healthy food items to it’s menu for the benefit of the customers.

Great release. The only suggestions I have are: put the CEO as the contact information at the top, and put the boilerplate at the bottom. All in all, this is a very good release!
ReplyDeleteYour lede mentions that there are new menu items but you only mention them in quotes. I would like to see a paragraph on the actual new menu choices. There were also a few spelling errors.
