Draft Email Pitch: Achieve Financial Independence

Achieve Financial Independence

Become a member of Cache Valley Investors Association

Dear Charles McCollum,

Too many people are unhappy with their jobs. Each week dozens of people are looking in the classified adds of the Herald Journal for some sort of income. Becoming a member at Cache Valley Area Investors Association will help you to become financially independent.

Founder and President Preston Parker said, “Money does not buy happiness, things don’t buy happiness. Once you get regular things like clothes and food, from that point on, money doesn’t buy happiness.”

To achieve financial independence, CVIA helps you to focus on education and networking. The organization holds regular meetings at 7 pm every other Thursday in the Cache Chamber of Commerce located at 160 N. Main in Logan. At the beginning of each meeting for the first 30 minutes the organization gets to know each member and discusses the various backgrounds. After the discussion, a presentation by a guest speaker is scheduled. The meetings are open to all aspects of life. Whether you are a beginner in investing or have been buying and selling land for decades. Come one come all.

Preston Parker started CVAIA in August 2007. Parker’s inspiration to start the organization began when people would come to him and ask him for financial advice and eventually not take the advice. Parker started the organization as a way to inform others and give advice so people could find a way to live on passive income rather than living from paycheck to paycheck. For more information about CVIA visit our website at www.cvia.com.

Preston is available via phone or in person on Mondays and Wednesday from 12:00-2:00 p.m. if you are interested in an interview or feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Megan Palmer

  1. I though that this is well written. You really got my attention with the first paragraph and included good information. The only suggestion I would make is at times it sounds too much like an advertisment for CVAIA, so I guess dull it down a bit. Also one of the time you refered to the CVAIA you left an A out... but thats all, great job.
